2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services or you have given your consent.

This website is operated on our own servers in Germany. There is no transfer of your data to external hosting service providers.

The processing is based on:

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR — your consent
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR — fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR — fulfillment of legal obligations, in particular commercial and tax retention obligations
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR — safeguarding our legitimate interests

3. Server Log Files

When you access our website, information is automatically collected that your browser transmits:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • accessed page or file
  • Referrer URL
  • used browser and operating system
  • transferred data volume and access status

Purpose: Delivery of the website, ensuring system security and stability, evaluation of disruptions. 
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in secure and uninterrupted operation. 
Storage duration: 7 days, then automatic deletion

There is no merging of this data with other data sources.

4. Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device.

Technically necessary cookies are required for the website and the ordering process to function — for example, to manage your session and the shopping cart. They are set based on § 25 para. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR without consent.

Non-necessary cookies are only set with your consent according to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via [Cookie settings] with effect for the future.

You can configure your browser to reject or delete cookies. In this case, it may be that not all functions of the website are usable.

5. Contact

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we process the data you provide — in particular, name, contact details, and the content of your inquiry — to address your concern.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract-related inquiries, otherwise Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Retention period: Deletion as soon as your request has been finally processed and no legal retention obligations are opposed. Business correspondence is subject to commercial and tax retention periods of up to ten years.

6. Customer account and order processing

For the processing of orders, we process:

  • Name, address, billing and delivery address
  • Email address and, if applicable, phone number
  • Order and payment data
  • for corporate customers: company and VAT identification number

Purpose: Contract processing, delivery, invoicing, warranty. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR; regarding retention Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Retention period: Order and invoice data will be retained in accordance with commercial and tax retention obligations under § 147 AO and § 257 HGB. The data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the retention period expires.

You can set up a customer account through which you can view your offers, orders, and invoices. Deletion of the account is possible at any time; the aforementioned retention obligations remain unaffected.

7. Payment processing

Prepayment and transfer. Your payment data will be transmitted to our credit institution as far as necessary for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

8. Shipping

To deliver your order, we transmit your name and delivery address to the designated shipping company. If you have consented, we also transmit your email address or phone number for delivery notifications.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, regarding the notification Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

9. Newsletter

For the newsletter dispatch, we use the double opt-in procedure: After your registration, you will receive an email in which you confirm the registration. We log the registration, confirmation, and the IP address used to prove consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Revocation: You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by messaging us. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then.

10. External content and fonts

Fonts, symbols, and other resources are delivered exclusively from our own server. There is no connection to third-party servers — especially to Google Fonts — when accessing our pages.

11. Recipients and order processing

Your data will only be shared to the extent necessary for contract fulfillment, if you have consented, or if there is a legal obligation.

Recipients may include:

  • Shipping companies for delivery
  • Payment service providers and credit institutions for processing the payment
  • Tax authorities within the framework of legal obligations

A transfer to third countries outside the EU or the EEA does not take place. 

12. Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Information about the data stored about you (Art. 15)
  • Correction of incorrect data (Art. 16)
  • Deletion (Art. 17), provided that no retention obligations oppose it
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Data portability (Art. 20)
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
  • Withdrawal of granted consents with effect for the future (Art. 7 para. 3)

To exercise these rights, a simple message to the contact details mentioned above is sufficient.

13. Data Security

We take technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. The transmission is encrypted via TLS. Our systems are regularly updated and secured.
